5.3-magnitude quake hits Hokkaido region, Japan: GFZ

Tokyo [Japan], April 5: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Hokkaido region, Japan, at 20:31:49 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 62.6 km, was initially determined to be at 42.01 degrees north latitude and 142.40 degrees east longitude.
