Abdullah bin Zayed, Irish counterpart discuss latest regional developments

Abu Dhabi [UAE], February 3: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed during a phone call with Micheal Martin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence of Ireland, the latest developments in the Middle East and its security and humanitarian repercussions.
The two sides discussed the importance of strengthening the efforts of the international community to reach a sustainable ceasefire and protect all civilians affected by the current crisis.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the necessity of accelerating urgent humanitarian response to meet the needs of the Palestinian people and delivering relief and medical aid to civilians in a safe and sustainable manner, which contributes to alleviating their suffering.
During the phone call, the two sides also reviewed several issues of mutual interests related to bilateral relations and aspects of joint cooperation.
