Al Ain [UAE], June 6: In a significant move towards full digitalisation, Al Ain City Municipality processed over 74,000 transactions electronically during the first quarter of this year.
This remarkable achievement translates to a staggering 99.96% of all transactions, with manual transactions constituting a mere 0.04%.
Mohammed Harb AlKetbi, Director of the Electronic Services and Communication Department at Al Ain City Municipality, attributed this success to the Department of Municipalities and Transport's digital transformation initiative.
"By implementing digital platforms for all transactions, the municipality has streamlined the process, enabling residents to access services swiftly and conveniently through simplified and unified procedures," he said.
