British military conducts third aid airdrop over Gaza Strip

Gaza [Palestine], April 1: UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps has said the British air force has conducted its third airdrop of humanitarian aid over the Gaza Strip.
"The package provides food to help alleviate the humanitarian crisis, and the UK is fully committed to getting more aid into Gaza as quickly as possible," he said in a post on X, without mentioning the location of the airdrop.
With land crossings hampered by Israel, the amount of humanitarian aid going into the besieged enclave remains woefully inadequate as famine spreads. (Agencies)
