Dutch FvD leader halts election campaign after umbrella attack

The Hague [Netherlands], October 28: Dutch politician Thierry Baudet, leader of the Forum for Democracy (FvD) party, has temporarily halted his election campaign after suffering an umbrella attack, the FvD announced on Friday.
Baudet was hit on head with an umbrella by a man before a meeting at a university in Belgium on Thursday evening.
According to a statement from his party, Baudet is doing well under the circumstances, but he does have a mild concussion.
The Dutch general elections are scheduled for Nov. 22 and Baudet had just started his campaign.
The Belgian police immediately arrested the suspect.
