Philippine fishing boat sank in the East Sea, 3 fishermen died

Manila [Philippines], October 4: On October 4, the Philippine Coast Guard announced that a fishing boat was rammed and sunk by a foreign commercial ship near Scarborough Shoal in the East Sea.
Rappler website quoted an initial report from the Philippine Coast Guard saying that a fishing boat of this country was rammed near Scarborough Shoal in the East Sea on October 2 by "an unidentified commercial vessel".
A surviving crew member on a small fishing boat following the crashed ship said the mother ship encountered an accident at about 4:30 a.m. on October 2 while preparing to fish in an area about 85 nautical miles northwest of Scarborough Shoal.
The fishing boat sank, killing three crew members, including the captain. Eleven survivors left the area on eight small boats. Then, they and the families of the three victims reported to the Philippine Coast Guard on the morning of October 3.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. On October 4, it was announced that the Philippines was investigating this incident at sea to verify the cause of the deaths of three fishermen.
The leader said the Philippine Coast Guard is checking all boats observed in the area. He also urged no speculation while the investigation takes place.
