Moscow [Russia], March 24: One person was killed and four others were injured in a missile attack launched by Ukrainian forces against the Russian city of Sevastopol, a local official said on Sunday.
"It was the most massive in recent times," City governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said via social media.
More than 10 missiles were shot down. Shrapnel fell in various parts of the city, causing damage to infrastructure.
Razvozhayev said that the Sevastopol rescue service continues to record reports of discovered fragments and parts of downed missiles.
"At the moment, there is also information that a rocket hit a private house in the area of Simferopol Highway and did not explode. The shock wave broke glass in residential buildings in the city center. No people were injured," the governor said.
