Sri Lankans commence voting to elect new president

Colombo [Sri Lanka], September 21: Voting to elect Sri Lanka's new president kicked off on Saturday.
According to the German Press Agency (dpa), more than 17 million eligible voters will be able to cast their votes across 13,421 polling booths between 7:00 and 16:00 (local time).
