Teenage pedestrian killed after being struck by bus in Australia's Brisbane

Sydney [Australia], March 9: A fatal bus-and-pedestrian traffic crash in Brisbane City caused an 18-year-old female pedestrian to die on Friday evening, said the Police Force in the Australian state of Queensland on Saturday.
The police said that just after 5 p.m. local time, a bus left the road on a street in the Brisbane CBD and struck the victim before colliding with a nearby building.
Emergency services arrived at the scene a short time later, where the woman was declared deceased. The bus driver and four passengers onboard sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for assessment.
