The Canadian Prime Minister was stuck in India due to plane failure after the G20 conference

New Delhi [India], September 11: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his accompanying delegation were stuck in India for another night after the G20 conference due to plane problems.

Prime Minister Trudeau's office said the delegation would remain in India until alternative flights could be arranged.
This is not the first time aircraft have caused problems for leaders and delegations. In October 2016, the Canadian Prime Minister
In October 2019, the plane crashed into a wall while being towed to the hangar in Ontario. The incident greatly damaged the nose and right engine cover of the plane, causing it to be decommissioned many months later.
A backup plane was used to take Prime Minister Trudeau to the NATO summit in December 2019 but was also grounded in London (UK) because of engine problems.
In July, the Canadian federal government announced that it had signed a contract worth 3.6 billion CAD (63,353 billion VND) to replace the leader's fleet. This fleet includes 5 aircraft and is expected to end its life cycle in 2027. The new fleet will include 4 new aircraft and 5 refurbished used aircraft, purchased from a company in Kuwait.
