Oct 25, 2023

Kyiv [Ukraine], October 25: On October 24, The Kyiv Independent page quoted spokesman for the General Intelligence Service of Ukraine AndriiYusov as saying that there are currently more than 400,000 Russian soldiers on Ukrainian territory.
According to Mr. Yusov, the enemy has enough forces and will conduct separate operations in some front-line areas, but will not attack aggressively in winter like in February 2022. On October 23, the Ukrainian army said Russian forces attacked many places in the east near the areas of Avdiivka, Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka.
On October 24, Ukraine said it shot down 6 Russian suicide drones (UAVs) that attacked during the night. The Russian side also launched 4 missiles and conducted 68 air strikes in many areas.
On the same day, TASS reported that Russia's Black Sea Fleet blocked Ukraine's attempt to attack the city of Sevastopol in Crimea with unmanned boats. Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said the loud explosions near the port were due to the Black Sea Fleet repelling Kyiv's attack. Russia and Ukraine have not commented on the above information from each other.
